I'm just wondering why in your view is the ruling class in the US (and its subordinates in Canada, UK, EU, Australia etc) spending so much resources and energy to generate as much hostility and hatred as possible in the west towards the BRICS countries, especially towards china, russia and iran? It is very obvious that the entire western billionaires' establishment media are speaking with one unified voice (just like they did during covid) about how supposedly evil are russia, china, iran (and any other country that isn't or wasn't under western control, like Libya, Venezuela, Syria, Cuba etc).. He explained that that was part of a "challenge" (or game) that was popular in chinese social media at the time of covid. In this "challenge" everybody in a certain neighbourhood would come out to the window/balcony at a set time and shout out all kinds of sentences according to that day's specific "challenge". It's a bit similar to how people in certain densely populated neighbourhoods Italy and Spain were coordinating on social media during covid lockdown to come out to the balcony at a set time to play music together across balconies. Most westerners aren't on chinese social media sites and don't read chinese, so most westerners weren't aware of this game/challenge. Thanks to the cold war with its cultural seperation and isolation, the ground is fertile for misunderstandings (which is precisely what the ruling class thrive on)
That same american in Shanghai also commented about the infamous social credit score (because many westerners asked him about that). He said that before being asked about this he never heard about such a thing and never saw anything like this practiced.. Afterwards i did a search on this and found a couple of videos of impromptu street interviews of people in Chinese cities asking them about the social credit score (the interviewers were non-chinese) and in those videos everyone interviewed said the same thing as that american in shanghai, they never heard about such a thing and never saw anything like it practiced..
That same american in shaghai also stated that while it was very inconvenient, the vast majority of local people were supportive of the measures..
