I don’t know if there will be an “end times” or even what that means. I do know that humans seem to have a ghoulish obsession with wanting to “be there when the world ends”, a0s if they will get to post it on TikTok when it happens.
Jesus clearly tells us on many occasions that we shouldn’t sweat it. Regardless of whatever may hap[pen on this plane, it’s not “the end”. Earth is simply a way point on the journey. “I am the Alpha and the Omega”. Jesus will be there at the end. That’s all we need to know.
As far as wanting to “be there when the world ends”, I’ve got good news for all of you. You indeed will be there when YOUR world ends. In fact, you will be the only one there. Do you a verse where Jesus says "the kingdom of heaven is within you."? I have read the four gospels and did not find Jesus saying that anywhere. I know He says "In your midst" or "among you" but that is not the same meaning as within you. Most of Jesus says about the Kingdome of Heaven or Kingdom of God seems like it is a physical place, not a metaphysical one. And that phrase sounds more like a New Age teaching than biblical.
