Really fascinting interview. Thank you very much for that. Regarding the theme of secularism, materialism and age of enlightenment, I think you might find value i this profound essay which explores this theme at depth and charts a way out

Another two very thoughtful suggestions about what can actually be done about the predicament we are in, are here https://www.pdrboston.org/egalitarianism

Good discussion. I would offer that your view that women never had "rights" in any culture is potentially a projection of western thought on to other cultures. Women in Nordic communities and in many aboriginal American cultures owned forms of power that mattered in those cultures.

Thanks for the work you've presented.

Yes, very good interview. Concerning bitcoin I can only recommend the book "Hijacked Bitcoin" and or listen to an interview between Catherine Austin Fitts and Steve Patterson.

The “elected” politician is just for theater, in many cases, to pretend we have a democratic process.

The bureaucracy really runs the state, they run the show, moving from one politician to the next. Politicians act on “staff recommendations,” which occur at every government level – local, county, state, federal, and international at the United Nations.

We must prohibit career politicians.

Our government office holders, at every level, should be selected from a qualified pool of citizens by lottery.

The *Laws* they enact should be ratified by a super majority of Citizens who are qualified to hold public office.

Interesting interview! You mentioned at around 102 min a book the title of which escaped Your memory adressing Mr. Poe's assertions. Since this pertains to the critical question of who initiates and ultimately benefits from cryptocratic centralisation ir would be great to get the title.
